RETREAT BOOKING POLICY

1. Property & Accommodation

a. Nature of the Property

The retreat is hosted in a private Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland. As with many historic properties, certain elements reflect the character and age of the home. By attending, guests acknowledge and accept the nature and charm of the space.

Open flames, candles, or any guest-brought fire sources are strictly prohibited.

b. Bathrooms & Facilities

The property includes a combination of private en-suite bathrooms and shared facilities. Guests acknowledge that room selections and bathroom access vary by room type and are part of the overall experience. No refunds or adjustments will be issued based on personal preferences.

c. Room Selection & Occupancy

Rooms are assigned based on your selected booking.

• Single occupancy rooms may not be shared

• Shared rooms must be booked accordingly

• Room selections are final and cannot be modified after booking

 

2. Travel Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Edinburgh, Scotland, including:

• Flights

• Ground transportation

• Visas or entry requirements

• Travel documentation

Yeay Day Life Coaching is not responsible for:

• Travel delays

• Missed connections

• Denied entry into the UK

We strongly recommend arriving at least 24 hours prior to check-in.

 

3. Payment & Booking Policy

a. All Sales Are Final

All retreat bookings are final.

Due to the limited number of spaces and the planning required, we do not offer refunds for any reason, including:

• Personal schedule changes

• Travel delays

• Illness

• Change of plans

b. Transfers

If you are unable to attend, your reservation may be transferred to another guest with at least 30 days’ written notice.

c. Payment Commitment

By securing your spot, you agree to complete all required payments.

Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.

d. Chargebacks

By completing your purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute.

Any chargeback attempts in violation of these terms may result in recovery of funds and associated fees.

 

4. Retreat Experience & Participation

By attending, you acknowledge that:

• This is a personal development and lifestyle experience

• Participation is voluntary

• You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being

Coaching provided is not therapy, medical care, or psychological treatment.

 

5. Assumption of Risk

Participation may include activities such as:

• Walking tours

• Spa experiences

• Group workshops

• Local excursions

You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and accept full responsibility.

Yeay Day Life Coaching is not liable for injuries except in cases of gross negligence.

 

6. Third-Party Services

Certain services (such as spa treatments, transportation, or excursions) may be provided by third-party vendors.

By participating, you acknowledge:

• These vendors operate independently

• Additional waivers may be required

• Yeay Day Life Coaching is not liable for third-party services

 

7. Travel Insurance 

All attendees are strongly encouraged (and recommended) to purchase travel insurance.

Coverage should include:

• Trip cancellation

• Travel delays

• Medical emergencies

Yeay Day Life Coaching is not responsible for costs related to unforeseen circumstances.

 

8. Photography & Media

By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

Content may be used for:

• Marketing

• Social media

• Website content

If you prefer not to appear, please notify us in advance.

 

9. Code of Conduct

All guests are expected to:

• Treat others with respect

• Maintain a positive and supportive environment

• Respect the property and shared spaces

Zero tolerance for:

• Harassment

• Bullying

• Disruptive behavior

Violation may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

 

10. Right to Refuse Participation

We reserve the right to remove any participant without refund if their behavior:

• Disrupts the experience

• Poses risk to others

• Violates these terms

 

11. Schedule Changes

The retreat schedule may shift due to:

• Weather

• Availability

• Operational needs

Experiences may be modified or replaced with equal value.

No refunds will be issued due to schedule adjustments.

 

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

• Natural disasters

• Travel disruptions

• Government restrictions

In such cases, retreats may be rescheduled.

 

13. Emergency Contact

All participants must provide an emergency contact prior to arrival.

 

14. Experience Disclaimer

This retreat is designed for personal growth, connection, and lifestyle exploration.

It does not provide certification, licensing, or professional credentials.
